  • How to link Windows Live Account (aka microsoft account) to existing R2 Games account? Also off-topic problem.

Lately, I have been trying to link my Microsoft account to my R2 Games account. I have already linked my Google Account to it, however the only things I can do on my profile page are edit my username, edit my country, birthday, and gender, plus the Security Center. Nothing else. Any help would be great.

Another problem off topic, while editing my birthday, I can only edit the year up to the year 1998. Plus, I can only edit the month of 1998 up to July 30. Technically, it thinks the highest date I can go for birthday is July 30, 1998.

    Thanks for the help !

The Windows Live login option is just a way to bypass having to create an account. You can convert to a regular login by logging in using your Windows Live credentials, and then going to www.r2games.com/user, verify the email address and set a password. But, you can't link your Windows Live account with your existing R2 account.

For the birthday, you have to be 18 or over in order to provide such information. If you are under 18, just select the closest year that works for your day and month, or just don't select a year. Usually, you're the only one who will see that information anyway.

      Thank you for the explanation.

PS: It wont let me enter my month and day but not my year on the Account Page. Instead, it says that the date is incorrect.

Because that month, day, and year combination is under 18 years. Try your month and day, choose 1999 as the year. You can change it later, so don't worry too much about it.
