With all the stuff that GMs are responsible for it's hard for them to be on at all times. I think there needs be an assistant GM ranking system. if the GM is not on The first ranked assistant GM can open things or something like that.

They should seriously consider the possibility of 2 things:
1-Guild Event Scheduler
Add a scheduler feature so that GM can schedule guild summons at a fixed time each day.
There are 3 things to summon: tree, beast, altar
2-Allow Assistants to Declare War in Outland Post Grab
Assistants can already assign generals. They should be allowed to declare war as well. No point to separate those two.
After the last 2 patches, they put even more burden on the GM yet they still have no discretionary role/power assignment, and still keep loading things on one person and burning that one poor GM out.
I used to lead 2 guilds (1 of them was top guild) on 2 servers and assist on 2 others (both with TOK players at some point). But now not any more. Just 1 is more than enough for me, so the second one was merged and inactive, and the other 2 toons had resigned but still couldn't get dailies done on just 1 of them.
After Patch 6.1, Officers are even more useless than before, as now we can't even switch guild or get kicked and invited back without losing the daily Outlands attempt. People would have to avoid changing guilds and avoid using mail to store spare items to avoid losing the lucrative Outlands rewards. What do we need Officers for? Basically nothing. Maybe some guild jumpers once in a while, but that doesn't happen often enough to have a seperate role for it. Right now I'm promoting officers just for honorary reasons. They literally do nothing.
