It's just a new website that you'll log in through since Kabam itself is pretty much gone now. Kabam's wartune will be taken over by Netmarble? damn more unfair advantages.

No, Arlad. Netmarble is a mobile company. They bought the rest of Kabam's mobile operations. The remaining parts are browser and the remaining partnered games, including Wartune, being called Aftershock, and are still looking to be acquired.
It's the transition away from all things Kabam that is the reason for the new website mentioned in the announcement. It's just poorly worded and makes it seem like that list is going over to Netmarble, but that list is what isn't going to Netmarble.

Technically, both. Kabam itself is gone. A third was purchased by Netmarble, the remaining two-thirds are combining as a new company. New website will be for that new company.
Anything beyond that remains to be seen. Wartune is still pretty profitable, despite all the claims of people not recharging anymore and of mass exodus every other week, so I'm sure the Kabam servers will be alright for a while.New R2 Community Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VFMzFDqKq5
