there can be some debate on a few of the Astrals but generally

Pristine Force: You can Never have too much Patk.
Pristine Fortitude: Pdef is always helpful against other Archers & Knights
Pristine Willpower: Because Mages happen
Pristine Sniper's Edge: Crit...an Archer's Best Friend
Refined Godess Blessing: % damage taken down is amazing
Enhanced Illusion: being able to make an attack deal 1 damage gives you more time to kill.

Those four are good too, i'll use Mdef and Pdef for 2 open slots.

Erm, you really should have Determination (crit base damage +X%) equipped before MDEF or PDEF. Gem for either HP or DEF to make up the difference if you're not at level 50 yet. I would equip a PDEF astral before an MDEF to give more survivability against knights at the 41-50 mark. Your MDEF is generally okay to match up against most mages during that same period.

I also agree with Whiffy. I'm a level 61 Archer with a 45K Battle rating and I love this class. Always room in Mp Dungeons. I use PATK, PDEF, Snipers Edge, MATK, Determination, and Goddess Blessing.

Hi, I have done a small study of the top 3-5 players on my server learning what astrals they use and therefore which are the best, so you can look at the picture below which i made where you can see which astrals the top players are using and if you want I also made a video recording about it on youtube here (youtube.com/watch?v=TgeN9gGNMhU) so those are the astrals I also suggest learning the from best people.

And agreed with Pern, critical astrals are a top priority early on - very early. Not sure why certain players are stating another four.
