The Ancient Dragon - There are many legends surrounding Spring Festival. One such legend involves a mighty dragon. This Ancient Dragon was a cruel beast that ravaged the lands and ate anything and anyone in his sight. All those who wished to live until morning had to hide away by night. As time went on by rare coincidence it was discovered that the dragon was afraid of the color red and firecrackers! Thus, even unto this day people wear lots of red and set off firecrackers to keep their loved ones safe.
