sometimes bear is not as great as other pets.
You may talk to BeastMaster to get to the pet ground or w/e it was called
then capture and morphed pet. sometimes those are better than the bear, so to speaksolution to solve a problem is to create more problems

I just created a new nonpaying character myself to run through some of the quests. I did not have any crystals just like all new accounts. I received the I can has bear quest at level 10, unliked and reliked the FB page and received the bear. So you should not actually require a crystal to complete the quest and delivery should happen fairly quickly. But if the quest is insisting that you have a crystal, please file a ticket by going to tickets.r2games.com.~Amanda and The R2Games Team
