My name is romayne and I have a gen3 BA my pet had a Mat of 20.2 upon breeding to Gen2with the skill Genius2, I then upgraded it from lvl2 to lvl3 which is a 2% increased the pet mat only increased by 0.1 to 20.3. This is obviously a bug and I have sent tickets with no help this has been going on for over a week now and I am very disappointed with this service I have been waiting a long time to breed my pet. I cannot provide a screen shot of the pet before I upgraded the skills because I did not take a pic of it before the upgrade. You should have records of every player at the moment my tickets are being ignored and this is not fair my pet mat is wrong and costumer service is not helping.

I can confirm that there is currently a bug with Genius and Enlightenment:

Enlightenment lvl 1's description is +0.4 mat, but it is actually +4%

Genius lvl 1's description is +4% mat, but it is actually +0.4

The same bug is applied for all higher lvls of those 2 skills. So yes, either the descriptions or effects of those skills should be swapped.

Sorry, I'm not sure of the wrong mat problem, I only want to confirm the fact that Genius itself is bugged. Is there any chance that your pet already has 20.3/20.3 mat (max mat)?

it was 20.2/21.3 now its 20.3/21.3

I can't think of any more reason for the mat to go up only 0.1 from a +0.2 mat upgrade >< Because I have never encountered such bug. I only noticed the enlightenment/genius bug.

Are u sure Genius should only be 0.2 instead of 2%?

I'm pretty sure of that. I had enlightenment skill once, and from upgrading it I noticed the bonus was more than 0.6 mat for lvl 3 skill on 10.6 mat pet (got from 10.6 to 11.3 with lvl 3). A friend of mine has both enlightenment and genius on a BA of 30 mat or so, and after testing she confirmed with me that those 2 skills' effects are mixed up.

Well that would still be only half of my problem Am waiting for a GM response because this is so wrong and I spend a lot of gold and time getting genius lvl3 1 book going for like 50 gold on my server and to increase by only 0.1 is a down right disgrace, plus iv been sending tickets over a week now they ppl responding asking for screen shot before i used genius 2 which I obviously wont have. So they r basically calling me lair.

Well, asking for screenshot is the default request before they try to solve any of your problem. They just can't see the point that 99.99% of us don't take screenshot before we upgrade something ><

Off-topic: genius and enlightenment aren't good passive skills on main pet in my opinion, they are only good on secondary pets so you get more mat for your main pet upon breeding. The best passive skill set for a BA, from my point of view, is: Enchanted line (+% int), berserk (+% matk), lifesaver (-% max hp but +% matk/patk). Any of the above 3 will provide more matk to your BA than Genius, and the last 2 slots can be used for 1 offensive skill, and either flexibility (defensive BA) or 1 more attacking skill (offensive BA)

Wow, so nice that you can afford to use BA as secondary pet >< I'm happy to be able to afford SA as secondaries xD

And no, I'm not saying that I take screenshot before upgrades, just saying that R2 fails to understand that 99.99% of us DON'T take screenshot before any upgrade, so requesting for such screenshot is a bit... too extreme

I used SA on all the 1st ones at gen3-4 the plan was to go BA BA the 2nd BA is bred just to be a secondary now the mat is messed up and thses ppl doing nothing to fix it. except ask for a screen shot after all that work wouldnt anyone be ****** off i had both lvl100 BAs for about a month now 1st i was waiting to get at least Genius3 now am waiting for them to fix my mat.

Have you tried asking them to check your toon's log? Though I'm not sure that an information such as pet's mat would be included in the log... But it's still worth trying.
