  • Trying to understand Battle Rating - Help please

Honestly this is a bit embarrassing because by now I think I should know more about Battle Rating but I don't! Can some help clarify it for me? I don't know the benefits for battle rating other than basically showing off the number. I know there has to be some benefits since the way it is put into context like needing a high battle ranking to do something. I asked before but I didn't get a good answer. So what... do you hit harder? Higher defense? More critical hits? If this is the case, anyone know at what point it makes a difference? Every thousand? Hundred? I just really don't get it. I do my best to raise it but I'm not sure why other than, "look at my number!" reasons lol. Sorry if this is a real dumb question but I honestly don't know the answer!

    Thanks

Don't be ashamed asking, we didnt get born knowing what battle rating is, we all learned, so now your turn

Battle rating does NOT improve your stats, it's the opposite: higher your stats, higher your battle rating. Everytime you gain health, your BR goes up. Same for crit, def, atk, ect.

Also: your orbs, even though some orbs do not increase any stats (example crit base orb) they still will improve your battle rating by a set amount.

Your battle rating is actually a number thats adds up your total attack defense health orbs pets wings gems ect

I hope it helped clafiry a bit what battle rating is, if you are still confuse, feel free to ask, or send me a mail with questions, and again: don't be shy! Knowledge is power, right?

    Cheers!

There is no such thing as a dumb question

Your battle rating is all your PDEF, MDEF, PATK(If arche or warrior)/MATK (If you're a mage), HP, and CRIT added together. The battle rating basically shows how strong you are in the simplest of terms.

Oh okay... so it is a reflection on how good your character is. So when you "need" a high BR you just need good stats. Thanks! I really thought there was more to it.

Lol, that's basically all it is Good stats are acquired from refining, socketing the correct gems(most often it's either patk/crit/hp, or matk/crit/hp) and having the correct orbs. Glad I was able to help you, and I hope you continue to enjoy playing Dragon Pals!
