besides possibly losing out on some hero upgrades (that I dont think wouldve made too much of a difference in CS type events) you didnt lose out on any resources or single server stuff from this so what type of compensation are you looking for?

I don't know what do you talk about.
The issue got fixed and everyone can train their heroes now.
If you talk about a compensation, that's up to the devs, not Mods or GM's.
