Battlerating stille going wrong

I thought the ideer about evovlving items was to get strong - get more battlerating, insted I LOOSE BR every day. I rported before but have still not got any answer or correction.
It has been like this for quite a while - think u soon have to do something about it . But still a great game

Is your BR drop permanent? As in if you refreshed your game does your BR go back to normal? But most importantly does your stats drop along with your BR?
