Why do we need MATK for archers?

hmm, just some nitpick question here
-what do you think about enhanced determination for archers pre-40?(assume it's lvl 30-39 ok), since my astral set-up is orange crit, orange determination and purple force, bad luck with astrals :3
-in my servers (kabam oceanic) there's an archer pre-40 who totally forgoes crit, but still has quite a scary BR, is it fine to totally forgoes crit?

Why do we need MATK for archers?

you don't. there's nowhere in the guide said, that you should work on your MATK if you are an archer.
if you meant guild skills, you don't do it for MATK, but for MDEF; at lvl 10 it gives you MDEF+100, which is maybe not much, but nice as you don't need any slot or balens for this. (just gld which is free)
