Could a mod/mentor or veteran explain how this new returning player bonus event works?

If we have an old character and want to start over on a new server, do we just select the Transfer option and use the code on the new character?

The Transfer Code will bind your old character with your character in the new server.

What does this character binding mean? Does it mean the old character is destroyed and the new character inherits its items? Or does it mean the old character also uses the same R2/Kabam account to login?

And, last but not least, if someone has done the Transfer option, mind telling me what percentage of the previous recharge is rewarded on the new character? Did you inherit any items from the old toon? What happened to the old toon after you did the transfer?

Yes. You select the Transfer option, and on the new character, while it's still new, use the Veteran's Welfare icon to input your transfer code.

The binding is just so you can only use the old character's transfer code once for one new character, and that new character can only claim a transfer code once. If you recharge on your old character before using your transfer code on your new character, you can refresh the code to get the most up to date rewards. The new character inherits nothing but the rebate rewards based on your old character's prior recharges.

Nothing happens to your old toon. You can continue playing it, and you can also do the 'stay in this server' portion of the event even if you've used the transfer option.

Correct. The transfer code can only be used in the same account, so if you play on GameRocks, your new character has to be made using the same GameRocks account you log into to access the old toon, and same will apply for the other platforms.

You only get a new transfer code if you've recharged since the last time you clicked the transfer button, but I don't know if you can receive a new code if you've already used the previous one, and I'm not willing to test that. I'm leaning toward only being able to use an old toon one time, regardless of a recharge being made after using the first code, just because the details mention a binding. You can't use the same code on multiple new toons, but if you just lost your code before using it and haven't recharged since, clicking the transfer button again will give you that old code again, and if you recharged then you get an up to date code.

50% in balens, 50% in bound balens. My old server recharge amount was 2502 balens, and my new server toon will receive 251 balens and 251 bound balens, every day for 5 days.

So it not only has to be the same platform (R2/GameRocks/kong), but also same login account? Can we use the code on a new character linked to a different account?

I didn't transfer the old toon before migration happened. Access to the old toon was lost because the Facebook account I used to access it was deleted. If I recover the toon, it won't link to the existing GameRocks account I created a few days ago. It would be great if I get something extra on the new toon though.

Same account. If you use email: xyz for toonA, then you need to make a new toon on email: xyz to use toonA's code. Codes can't be transferred between accounts.

If you recover your facebook toon, which you can absolutely do by sending in a ticket using the information I provided in the Wonderhill Data Migration thread, as long as you remember the email address for the deleted facebook account, you could just start a new toon on that account, and then you'd be able to use the transfer code from the facebook toon.

As long as you remember what the bound email was, it shouldn't be an issue, but if you have any problems, let me know. I gave you guys an easy copy and paste thing in the thread for your ticket. It's all you need to include.

Did you input the code into Veteran's Welfare, or are you trying to put it into the hot event panel? Is the new toon on the same account as the old toon? Is the new toon a new toon? Have you used a code from the old toon already?

yes on the veteran welfare. yes the same accout as the old toon and the toon is new cuz i tried soo many server but it keep saying invalid code transfer

Please send in a ticket with the character name and server of your old toon, the character name and server of the new toon, and a screenshot showing the invalid code message, so support can look into what went wrong for you.

My walfare return icon disappeared on day 3 or 4. I noticed that i had less stuff to gain upon login but never knew what the icon was called.
i chose to stay on my current server but all the god rewards thst I could have got are no longer available even though i have been signing in.
i sent a ticket in yesterday due to not seeing it and finally realizing what it is.
it was set to end today for final rewards. O still have the kings return stat buff as of now
