Often, players wonder what is the cheapest way to enchant their items. Which luck stones should you use?

Let's say you set up your luck stone and your item, and continue clicking the enchant button until the item successfully goes up one level.

On average, the total cost of doing that will be

The above formula can be used to determine how expensive enchanting one level will probably be. I recommend that you use it to save yourself some gold!

Now here is an example. For this example I assume that level 1 stones cost 2000, level 2 stones cost 3000, level 3 stones cost 5000, level 4 stones cost 10000, and level 5 stones cost 20800 (based on the prices in my guild store, and synthesizing level 5 stones).

So here is the best way to enchant a piece of level 45 PvP armor (such as a Dakan Master Robe) to +15:

+1 base cost 689 use no luck stone expected cost 689.0

+2 base cost 1372 use no luck stone expected cost 1524.44444444

+3 base cost 2628 use no luck stone expected cost 3285.0

+4 base cost 4508 use no luck stone expected cost 6440.0

+5 base cost 7048 use no luck stone expected cost 11746.6666667

+6 base cost 10279 use lvl 2 luck stone expected cost 18970.0

+7 base cost 14228 use lvl 3 luck stone expected cost 27468.5714286

+8 base cost 18915 use lvl 3 luck stone expected cost 39858.3333333

+9 base cost 24363 use lvl 4 luck stone expected cost 57271.6666667

+10 base cost 30588 use lvl 4 luck stone expected cost 81176.0

+11 base cost 37607 use lvl 4 luck stone expected cost 95214.0

+12 base cost 45436 use lvl 5 luck stone expected cost 110393.333333

+13 base cost 54088 use lvl 5 luck stone expected cost 124813.333333

+14 base cost 63578 use lvl 5 luck stone expected cost 140630.0

+15 base cost 73917 use lvl 5 luck stone expected cost 157861.666667

Total expected cost of all enchantments and all luck stones used: 877342.015873

If you have a few higher level luck stones that you got from dungeons or elsewhere, save them for the very highest levels of enchantment. For instance, use level 9 luck stones when enchanting to +15.

Let's say you set up your luck stone and your item, and continue clicking the enchant button until the item successfully goes up one level.

On average, the total cost of doing that will be

**(enchantCost + luckCost) / enchantPr**. enchantCost is the cost it says in the blacksmith to enchant the item. luckCost is the cost of the luck stone you are using. enchantPr is the probability it says in the blacksmith, with the luck stone in the slot (for instance, 0.5 for a 50% chance). The above formula can be used to determine how expensive enchanting one level will probably be.
