Often, players wonder what is the cheapest way to enchant their items. Which luck stones should you use?
Let's say you set up your luck stone and your item, and continue clicking the enchant button until the item successfully goes up one level.
On average, the total cost of doing that will be (enchantCost + luckCost) / enchantPr. enchantCost is the cost it says in the blacksmith to enchant the item. luckCost is the cost of the luck stone you are using. enchantPr is the probability it says in the blacksmith, with the luck stone in the slot (for instance, 0.5 for a 50% chance).
The above formula can be used to determine how expensive enchanting one level will probably be. I recommend that you use it to save yourself some gold!
Now here is an example. For this example I assume that level 1 stones cost 2000, level 2 stones cost 3000, level 3 stones cost 5000, level 4 stones cost 10000, and level 5 stones cost 20800 (based on the prices in my guild store, and synthesizing level 5 stones).
So here is the best way to enchant a piece of level 45 PvP armor (such as a Dakan Master Robe) to +15:
