Most likely archers use Floating damage.

Floating damage: chance to increase your max damage, but also reduce your min damage

to seanreaper, floating damage is mainly used for mages, but can be used for any class! I am a mage (DragonMaster) on S20 "Twilite Arena" and I have a floating damage astral that i use for World Boss battles and when I feel like messing around with higher level players...

but what it does is it raises the minimum & maximum range of your character base damage by (X%)

right now I have a level 3 Pristine floating damage astral and it does 21% floating damage, so approx. 21% of the atks my damage rises..

say i use mage skill thunder bolt - lev 4, most of the time I do anywhere from 1.5k - 4k damage normally, but with floating damage i can do avg. 8k - 10k damage give/take few HP damage to enemy/WB/campain monsters...

P.S. im also known by my Guild Leader as the professor cuz I like to try out all astrals, and have a well rounded character for (Hero & Troop Stats) but also because I can take on many of the Higher level players within -9 levels of me... lol
