Basic stats like patk, matk, crit, PDEF, MDEF, BLOCK add more to equipment BR than STR, INT, ARMOR/DEF, END. But it is other way when it comes to player BR. Try refining on low level equipment to see difference.

i tried and it seems like its only the item's br that doesnt show the rigth value, probably because they calculate the br for defense/armor wrong (maybe other stats too). but it should add the right amount of br and stats to your char, so nothing to worry about.

so according this pic lvl 4 block gives better br than lvl 9 defence

the right one should give more br because of defense. its probably a bug in calculating the br for the item. as long as it gives the right stats for your character i wouldnt worry. i will check this later on my char

look closer, their refinements are a little different

yep the only dif are ref stats... the br dif is not too much.

I have defense on some 80 items and armor on others. I know from previous equip that armor is better then defense. I dunno the exact values though. Maybe defense only gives 2 points and armor gives 4. That could explain the difference.

defence still gives 4, it might be that armor gives abit more points than defence but we're talking about a high lvl dual stats vs a low lvl single stats

its exactly the same both lvl 80 soul engrave, it just doesnt show other ppls bonus
