First of all, I don't know if this happens everywhere but I suppose it could be a common behavior on old servers - (at least it is on mine atm). Here's what happens:
Two teams enter TT and they begin to fight. Once a team gains about 3000 points, its players start to ask to their "enemies" to leave.
"We got our kills. Thanks. Please leave.". Losers are supposed to quit their game and find a new one before the TT time window expires. If they can't, tough luck. They could just stay there and linger, letting the others kill them repeatedly untill they properly win the match (which already takes a lot less time) but apparently this is irritating and brings bad karma.
Why asking to leave? Because a TT match can take up to 20+ minutes and that strategy allows the "winners" to get out in 10 minutes or less (eg: 3 or so if they're lucky and powerful). Obviously, on high levels the whole thing becomes boring, repetitive and useless as well so... I understand them.
This is what I don't understand: nobody forces anyone to play TT. Nobody forces anyone to fulfill all of the daily requests that the game suggests. Still, there are some players who despise TT but feel the urge to participate and also get mad if people don't leave when prompted to. Not to mention the fact that leaping from match to match in order to find a winning fight can seriously damage gamers who want to play TT for real.
Today I missed the first TT completely so I decided to give it a try on the 2nd turn. I got scolded by a guildmate because I decided to linger there and get nuked to death instead of leaving immediately. This caused her to finish her TT match in 10 minutes instead of the 3 she is used to. Complaints ensued. She wasted 10 minutes of her life because of me. The fun part is that she skipped the World Boss and went to bed shortly after the end of the match so her in-game schedule was pretty much done.
Now I feel guilty of course (), but I want to ask you: is it the same on your server? What would you do or what do you normally do when something like this happens?
