what is the effect of the troop count ???? explanation please

Increase troop amount = more hp for your troops = tankier troops..

but so far I've only known every 400 troops = 100% more hp.. so if any people who are very sure whether it adds the other stats like MDEF/PDEF/Patk/Matk for the troops?
