    knights apollo is only 35% and can be debuffed gaurd rune cant

      heal rune

      how are mages able to have 3 different heal skills and still able to use a heal run when and archer cant use purge which duplicates scatter shot or knights cant use guardian ????? seems a little unfair

          The rune mages don't have access to is puri, which also duplicates one of their skills. Their main solo heal (resto) has a pretty short cd, meaning between this, sunt, bless and heal rune, they can pretty much constantly heal. There are of course problems with this for mages - a) they need a hell of alot of rage if they want to constantly heal, which means they must also attack, b) they have relatively low hp which can pretty easily be cut in half by a strong archer with a decent armor piercer c) suntoria can be scattered or purged which means wasted rage and a 30 second cd.
          Having said all that - it still does seem like a pretty good deal lol

            Or much easier, use chaos when they try to use BL or Suntoria and have a 80% chance for a heal and fail for them.

                chaos isn t as effective as what the percents show just like illusion , doesn't go off anywhere near as much as it should

                    Sadly Mages had two "class defining" skills where as Archers and Knights only had one. Archers have the scatter shot, Knights the shield, and Mages can heal and purify. it is rightly said that those heal skills cost a fair clip of rage, so that may be why it was decided to remove the purify skill from them instead, I don't rightly know. But something else people did not take into consideration is that with mages their heals do not always heal them, it heals the lowest person with restoration, suntoria gives a tiny bit of health back per round for so many, and Bless at a whopping 60 rage cost, will heal the entire party. So if they do keep healing, they can not be attacking and lightning bolt is not going to carry you terribly far

                      mages have 3 direct heal skills, and 1 buff (sunto). they have to use rage to cast them tho, and it takes time to build that rage needed. in pvp bl is useless since it takes too much times to collect. the new adv heal skill is useless since resto is better and more practical.

                      all skills require rage, and being able to have 3 skills, does not mean they use them. as a mage i dont have enough skillsslots to put them in nor do i want that.

                      for this you might also raise the question why archers cna use mire if you're busy doing it. as well ask why archers and knights have brutal since they are super strong. also why have knights rage rune since they can build it quickly.
