So if i leave my current guild, what exactly happens? I currently have level 2 skills with said guild and a sizable contribution record.... including 320 current guild points. What would be the smartest thing to do if i want to move to another guild? What are the penalties for doing so?

one - spend your points - you don't keep them
two- skills transfer over as long as other guild has them opened
three - have the guild master kick you to avoid the 24 hour wait periodgiving game one last chance :
