In every business, you have to take into account that customers are not there forever. They may disappear with the time, and you need to replace them with new customers. If R2 continues making the events useless for new players (for instance, rewards only for lvl 6 gems or higher), these new players will get tired of the game, feel frustrated, and disappear. Without new players, the number of customers will start to decrease instead of increase (which is the ideal in any business). So PLEASE, keep on with the events for old or medium players, but also prepare events that new players can use, so they feel happy and decide to join this game for many years. Even if the rewards for lvl 5 gem are crappy (to put an example), but let them get some reward. A new players cannot synth a lvl 10 gem, so he will feel excluded and you will lose a potential customer
