need some Mage advice pls

hi guys, I had someone told me I should switch out my MDEF Gems for HP Gems. just wanted to know if any had any advice on what I should do. all my Gems are level 8 now soon to be level 9.

I run 8 MATK, 8 HP, 7 PDEF, 5 Crit, 4 MDEF.

Working on getting my MDEF a few k higher (56k right now) and I'll start swapping those MDEF gems out for Block.

On topic: I think switching out 5-6 mdef for HP would do you quite good.

im also a mage i use 8hp 8 mtak 6 crit, 8 block and 2 m.def, trust me hp is way better than defences in pve and pve gives more rewards, as for block it reduces damge by 25%
so lets say im hit with 100k block will subtrac 25k damage, without block i would need to add 20k in defence to do the same i suggest you get some hp gems

all here made a good point, it depends on play style.

i have balanced between taking 6 hp, 5 mdef and 5 pdef or sth and rest crit and matk.
it kinda depends on your playstyle to go for hp or def. if you prefer pvp or do a lot of pvp you might wanna go for def instead of hp. if you're more into pve you could go for hp or even block. i chose for a more balanced both pve and pvp way.

what gems are you using atm?
Seeing your hp its quite low so you might add a few hp gems. in your case it will definitly help in ab and sky trail even.

when someone have 400k hp without hp gems he don't really need more hp ....just following some uber heavy cashers who did change

but since im not uber heavy casher it will take awhile and I said probably will change depending how much hp will I have without hp gems

personaly I aim at 300k hp without hp gems

i play really long so don't have much use for any rewards of pve ,only rewards i need is mount from events to rise more stats with whips

so its more pvp to preform good in xgb as its event where i can get most br now through holy forge

only problem with the way you're going is you prob buy more mounts so you can do that I don't that many mount because the boxes are rigged and I have only ever gotten one mount form boxes and it was free any time I buy them I get nothing so looks like i'm screwed

Don't ever switch all your mdef to hp gems or you will melt easily im 453k br mage using: 8 matk gems, 8 crit , 7 mdef, 7 pdef and 2 hp gems... deff better than hp

lol i dont use any defense gems and i do pretty fine
300k hp and 30k defenses beats 200k hp and 35k defenses
