welcome to the club, some mentor abused their privilege to downrep people with -7 points. got myself many times.
if the mentors has normal reputation, im sure 90% of them are in the red category, thus cant downrep people.

I just wanted to clarify something here. I don't ever use my 'Mentor' account for any negative reputation. I've only used it for kudos points (positive reputation) on guides, and other helpful points players may give, that may make my job easier in helping others. I can not however speak for anyone else.
