Please help me understand how points awarded in New battle grounds/Sacred Fire Temple

I have seen this many times, and can not understand why players with less wins and points get MVP in new BG. I would like to know where I can find detailed explanation of this point system that r2 uses in this new BG, to me it seems absolutely unfair, when less qualified player take the top prize and max amount of soul seals over the one who has more points and wins. I will post few screen shots here to help others understand my question.

Another thought, if a BR comes in to play. Every time I'm in new BG, I'm on the team with Top players in game that have 450k BR +++ so my 375K BR never be able to see MVP? I get lucky days with 10+ wins and someone with 7 wins takes MVP which makes it unfair to me or other players like me.

Someone that gets 10 kills = 100 pts
Someone that gets 7 kills in 5 mins + tower sitting ~85? pts (rough numbers)


My strat for BG is going from tower to tower ~ tower points tick at fixed times, so you can wander for opponents + get tower pts every single time in most cases.

Well that would make me mvp every time, but not! I have seen people take MVP, because they have not been camping a totem, which gave them faster access to more players to defeat.

Ah. ok. I've not a BG where BR has come into it. Makes sense though in relation to the rest of the game, when actually said. Not something I had considered.

The MVP award is not based on highest kill count.

As Hobo says, killing while camping a tower is how you earn MVP.

1 point for sitting at a tower that you dont own
3 points for sitting at a tower that you do own
10 points for killing someone

the wins/kills isnt based on points
the people with more kills being lower is because they werent camping a tower while killing
