u cannot start the fight by urself ive tried.
the only possibility i can think of (havent tested so unsure) is if he was in a party but the rest of the members are offline.
thats the only way to be by urself while in a party. and i havent tested this part which is if they offline members receive the chest or not.

You have to be in a party.. the others don't physically have to be there. I have personally joined a team just so a guildie could participate. Since I never entered I didn't receive rewards but he did.

Party of one is a bit misleading.
I would venture to guess that it might have only been a 2 person party(possibly an alt) and the other was doing something else, not participating in the atoll, perhaps doing something in the wilds. You can still do atoll that way. Requirements state you need to be in a party, not all participants have to be in the atoll.

as far i know of party will be dismissed if other leave

this isn't how it worked for us. Many times we have invited players who never fought, never entered atoll even... and they still got chest. Every player in party got chest and only 1 player actually fought (1 time) then sat idle

amazing this is each time he gets last hit he has gotten a sylph ......... he got 2 times so far last hit so he got a hades n apollo

Has nothing to do with last hit I got when not in fight before.

I have never had when been in top 5 players though.
