Block Stat for Archer

Hello guys, do you find usefull to use block astral and gems as archer, I can get upt to 9k with 4 block gems and astral, is it really usefull or should I use magic def gems instead (i have 37k), i can kill most of mages

Btw. why are you so sexist? "Screenie" or "thingy" isn't reserved just for girls. Not mentioning, those are just common colloquialisms.

It took me a while to figure this out as well, back in the times, when we didn't actually know how Enshieldment worked (around 2 years ago)

Doesn't it still put 'Dodge' in tiny blue letters at the bottom right of a Crit hit that's been dodged? It always used too...

I'll see if I can grab a screenie of it when the games back up.

it shows when you block a crit, it says dodge or something, even if you're not a knight

Numbers appear as though a normal critical hit, but "dodge" also appears, or does for me.

umm you know when you block the damage shows up in blue
you can also block crit hits, but it just shows as a crit attack
only way to know if a crit attack is blocked, is when a knight does it
since they have the passive that heals back from blocked attacks

only way i have seen it is using a multi shot on a knight
and the knight block heals

When crit is being blocked, "Dodge" in blue font appears. Didn't notice that at first, either.
On your video (2:36), your enemy hits you with Multishot around 2:37 and next to crit dmg amount blue "Dodge" appears

Was curious...watched the video...and I all can wonder is what the hell is up with that BG? Unevolved slyphs? No one but you using guard? Silly tactics by your opponents? Is that how it usually is?

the knight that beat me and took my fire had dryads, so i guess just a lot of noobs with bad tactics

umm block also blocks on crit strikes you just cant see it, but its still there (use multi shot an a knight you'll see it crit but he gets the hp bonus for a block)
but im also running a level 7 guardian angel so a lot of attacks dont crit either
