Do Discount cards work for getting married or is it for spending a certain amount in the shop.
Reason is I got a 2k Discount card if I spend 5k so marriage is 3999balens and wondered how this would work I have only 24 hours to use this card and would be a shame for it to go to waste.

Discount works only if you spend 5k balens in one purchase, check hot events and try to get some 39 balens chest and you`ll see an option to use discount card if you pass 5k balens.
