I don't understand something about Triton

The way it sounds, most people say it is not worth it to get triton. I have 2 1 star purple sylphs as my main sylphs, hades and apollo. Honestly, I don't know if I will ever be able to evolve them. I hardly have any divinity shards right now and I don't cash a whole lot. It will be a good while before I can even evolve a regular sylph.

The thing is I am not sure how much I would use triton. Right now, the only place I can see using it is the wilds. Granted, I don't do anything like the spire or mpd's yet.

I have 8 coins so I have enough to get it, already have the mount.

I've opened around 600 chests so far. Got 2 coins only and out of balens, so I guess, I'll end up with the wings only.
But if only I could, I would take Triton for sure.
It can be a really nice support for CW.

I always thought most older players already had a decent iris, since when sylphs came it was either Apollo or Iris people invested in.
