for test server: What are war flags in cloud adventure for?

I found one in cloud adventures today and want to know what they are used for

I don't remember where I saw that but, they are used to either call a friend to help you in battle once or to go help a friend in battle once (both only in Cloud adventure)

they appear when a player apply to join your party.
