Gold Alchemy VS. Campaign (hero mode)

You can spend balen (unbound only) "starting at 50balen (raises cost each attempt)" for "less than 200k gold" using Gold Alchemy; or
you can just buy an additional Hero Campaign Attempt for 20balen (limit 5 a day) (bound or unbound) and get "200k+ gold" from either one of the lvl80 Campaigns(not sure about campaigns before that)?

when i do it
i check 4 things
do i need gold
am i lagging
wb at 700m hp (our servers highest)
and is any other heavy balener on (am i gonna be 1st, 2nd, in other words)

I was checking gold alchemy last night (since I noticed the hot event event). Clicked it
to see if it took bound Balen, since I've never used it before; and found out it did not, in
fact, doesn't even let you know it don't. Just takes your unbound, and not even a smile
afterward. Was astonished, too see not only that, but the next attempt cost even more. lol

As far as WB, regardless who there, I'd get anywhere from 200k-380k depending on a
couple variables. So definitely, well worth it over other oprions, when using balen for extra
gold.

unless you're a big casher dont spend balens or bound balens for gold.

your main needs for balens are mounts, transposer, clothing (mainly wings tho), sylph skills and maybe if you're bit impatient sylph socketing rods.
in general you want to spend bb on items which could increase stats. an exception is transposer. transposer, atleast for lower levels, are a nice advantage to have since it requires less gold to convert. which allows you to save gold for more rewards and higher rewards. however gold was an issue mainly during the epic gem drops of whips event etc.

i agree with others tho, if you decide to spend balens on gold, do it at wb. if not i would rather get hero attempt to blitz for ck, gold isnt an issue.

Haven't seen a crypt key from campaigns in forever!!!!!

I USE SKELETON KEYS EVERYTIME!!!!

Gold really isn't an issue, for me either. Between WB (daytime), Dragon Invasion,
and now Bloody Inferno. Plus if was super hard up, could attend WB (night time).
As mentioned, had never ever checked into Gold Alchemy before, reason for starting
this thread. And am totally glad I did! Because you all have brought up even more
useful information, than I originally had intended.

spent ~700 BB and get back 26 mil reward, can do better if I am not lagging (cuz WB too long)

i think on a good day, i get 12-14
i got 7m the other week
but i was lagging so bad
my sprite wouldnt load so no double hits, sylph was only lasting 2 attacks
there were i'd say 40 people on overall

that day i really wanted to balen up but the lag was so horrible

im not needing gold anyway
im kinda holding off on my 80 gear, i dont feel i need it just yet
i'll get my other jewel and just work on other things for the time being, gems etc.

Wow, you still have those black squares thingies ? Try this, might help you


Right mouse click, click on "Settings", go to first monitor picture and see how settings should like in the picture above, then refresh and see on wb time if you still have it. Lemme know if that worked

Hey guys, spending balen on WB is completely and utterly useless. It was calculated many times, spending balen on mounts and other cash-only BR items is 10x (TEN TIMES) more efficient than spending gold on WB. So you get 10 times more Battle Rating for your balen if you spend it on mounts than if you spend it on WB. See more details here:
