Camping and campers

Hi everyone and thanks for being so open about your opinions...
To sum it up ...so far i have been advised:
- to camp at 80
- to camp at 80 if i plan to go to 80
- to camp between level 50 and 65
- not to camp
- do what feels best for me
To make a quick remark... i always play based on how i feel to play (like most people i would guess).
When talking
about camping i dont mean live long camping. But just to point out some players have been camping for 6-8 months
at these levels (30-39) and have br between 50 - 80k and two above (as far as i have seen yet). Shanks has 97K br
although i think he is a casher cause he has a level 8 stable and maxed his soul engraving. Another HO sth has 107K
br at level 39. But he is camping over a year now (i hear). I am not saying i want that but from what i experienced in BG
i saw people easily get BR above 50K in 6 months or so..and i think that is a good BR to consider moving to level 40.
Again on level 40-49 there are a lot of people with above 100K br and i think that is achievable due to Jewel Hunt and
i think Underground palace (i am unfamiliar though with the rewards). Considering that in the meantime i will have my
fishtank at level 30 (as i am always in the top 15) i think there is plenty of chance to be above 100K before reaching level 50
it just takes some time.
As far as low level campers begging...yes that does happen but the funny thing still remains that the low level campers perform
as well as level 55+ against some monsters (which is not very good). The only wild mosnter we ask help for are l80 void commander
cause the level 55+ also need it for their daily run. the level50+bosses we leave (for now) cause we dont think we are ready for them
and in meantime there are enough l50 elites to kill.
and finally....yess a camper cant beat a decent to good casher but he can always kill low cashers and other free players that just are leveling
up (which is a gross of the "wartune population") So i have plenty of poor noobs to kill and rich #@))! to run from
Btw i started this thread on 16th of january with:
- BR 21K (24,3K now)
- Warrior (Crusader now)
- L1 stable (L2 now)
- l16 soul engraving now
- 178 arena wins now
- 560 kills in bg now
SO tell me now friends...its camping not the best way to go if you have no money left at the end of the month to spend on a game?

Only time I lose 400 honor is with a fellow non-casher with either matching br and lagging. Most 99% of the time, I only lose 10 honor
even against cashers. Can't get higher ranks? then level up.

The high level with low br either team up between themselves or helps lower people on arena/mpd/tok.

Ive been playing on my new server for about 7-8 months now and from it id suggest that you get to 50, get your sylph/templars and get to 60. For me that was the best place i could camp since i could get my 60 set ready and legendary by lvl64. In early lvl60s i suggest you work on your HS and get to around a comfortable 120k BR without sylph. About 60 months ago i was lvl47 with 40k BR, now im lvl70 and 196k BR with sylph so...goodluck and do what suits you best i guess. Camping at 60s helped, couldve stayed there another 6-7 months but meh i found a good arena team and moved on.

With the Exp Cap Nerf of 2014, slow leveling between levels 50-70 is a very hard proposition being enable to dump exp more than once per level if at all. Not impossible, just very difficult to "camp" and build BR.

maybe revamp BG so it more closely resembles the current Amethyst Mines. 2 separate levels.
when you join, you have a choice of entering the low-risk BG, where everyone is your Honor level. low Honor rewards, low Honor losses. Maybe 50/10 per win/loss.
or enter the Advanced BG, where the risk/reward is greater. can involve any Honor levels. can use current win/loss rewards, or bump it up more.
I think this would help alleviate the situation where there are High BR/Low Honor players making things difficult for others. as it stands now, 1 fight can lose me 400 honor, and it'll take me at least 4 wins to recover that.

I type this in jest, but I think bg should have an electric fence to keep players from camping. Or some kind of constant motion rule where you can't camp on the opposing side for more than 5 seconds at a time.
Why can't the cashers and non-cashers compete in their own universes?

accepts "weakness" in these levels...I mean be honest...if a toon with sylph cant beat a level 50 boss...what the point
of being level 60+.

If you're a non-casher you will never ever be able to compete in PvP with cashers.
When you're camping, you only slow down your progress and postpone the inevitable.

I will try to reply on all of them with this post.
I camp at level30-39 cause of i am aware that catching up or even rival heavy cashers and old players
is nearly impossible (unless R2 performs a miracle...and that too only in such way that it only benefits me :P).
At these levels i find that beating people in pvp action is easier cause most people are running towards sylphs and
because of that most of them neglect their BR. I even have some (in my opinion) shameless (or baby noob) players
that are level 45 and have BR of 13-16k (with blessing). I want to take this level to accomplish as much as possible,
my group is fun and i have experienced something rather disturbing element of high level players on my server.

These ofcourse are my opinions and yess i love to camp and it doesnt seem like work cause now i have less to do
and the fun things only...i hate mpd, solo arena and bounty quests. Even forgotten cata is only fun when you face
a new level boss or else is just dull.
I love BG, MP Arena, CQ and GB.
and just so you know, i was 29k br at lv 59 and that was high (especially non casher)
arena, bg and othter pvp is probably a disaster for most part of the players, but it also give the least useful stuff. seeing your level and server i dont think camping now will hurt you on this server. fresh players so plenty of ppl to do stuff with.

you should ask a question for yourself before camping, will you go to lv 80?
if the answer is yes, then lv 80 is the best place to camp.
if you're not planning to go to lv 80, stay wherever you enjoy most

ithink lv 59 is best place to camp, some heavy campers there but also enough fresh meat.
the reason you want to camp there is because you can have sylph and do dimensional maps (i think). dimensional maps give such great rewards and allows you to create a strong sylph, which is mostly needed and most beneficial. you can camp before that lv, but the benefits will quickly fade when introduced to dimensional maps and sylphs. you have a strong char, but its meaning less when you have a strong sylph.

IMO, the best level to camp is between 50-59.
Why not below? Because your missing out on sylphs. Sylphs are very strong and, most cases, determine the outcome of your battle.
Why not above? Since you said you like PvP, then I wouldn't advise you to stay in 60+. You'd meet level 70-80 people who aren't doing SFT. (Yep, the bg is bugged. I'm one of those level 80s who stay in normal bg.) Plus 50 legendary set is rather cheap and very easy to refine.
Then I suggest stop camping after you get Lord Divine. IMO, that's the most cost-efficient medal.
