Angels vs Knight

I know this issue has been discussed but I didn't find anything related to my question, so far we all know angels have more attack bonus, so it would be the smart option to get, but I wonder as an archer how do you get the attack bonus? Do i need to change my PATK enlightment to MATK and still get the bonus? or how does it works out?

no, patk enlightment gives patk, matk enlightment - matk, no matter the troops, it takes their highest attack

So i need to convert patk to matk in order to get the attack bonus from enlightment correct?

if you are a knight/ archer get the sword icon
if you're a mage get the purple/pink ball icon

Interesting, I didnt know you would get the attack of the troops regardless their type, thank, so def the troops to get are angels :P
