Is the critical stat only exist to decide if you hit a critical or does it also improve your actual critical damage?

just the chance to land a critical hit. if you want to increase its damage, equip the astral that increases crit damage by % (don't know if its still bugged or already fixed)

it exist only to increase the chance not the damage.
