Normally i see many knight have gem: Pattk,Pdef,Mdef

what gem is should add if i want to be tanker knight?

since i want to be a hard body knight.

pls veteran knight,help me.

Play smart use potz if needed use mdef scrolls.

and the least part do is hit em hard mages have the lower pdef if mage aoe is killing you why not use knights aoe on mages see what happens?

whirlwind is destructive aoe for a hero with a hard armor. p.s. 50 rage needed mages aoe needs 20 rage only so they can aoe you first round .

ok.from what i read, you suggest that knight should use pots and mdef scroll.

i dont know there is mdef scroll,all i know there is hp scroll (increase hp+5% for 30 minutes).

- use pots
- use scroll
- find weak mage with low deff.

- and addition whirlwind skill.(50 rage)

for example,i am lvl 37 knight.
in Group arena,i use all pots and scroll.and i use whirlwind skill on lower def magess.

yeah i success beat him.

but hell,i dont need pot or another scroll to beat low def mages.

i just smack him with my sword.

and the problem is...there is mage who are same lvl,same equip (lvl 35 pvp set),same use pot and scroll,and just have 2500 pdef.

he crushed me with his area skill.

so your suggestion is work with low def mages and low lvl.

whirlwind is 50 rage,your minimum rage after the battle start is 30.

you have to hit him 2 or three before you can activate that skill.

before then,you have died or low hp.

i like to use shield skill than whirlwind.

but for now,i take that skill for catacomb.not for arena or group arena.

i think your wrong knights should have mdef gems and maybe more so than pdef for being a veteran player you really have no clue and as for rock scissors paper theory i beat archers same level as me and higher br all the time infact theres only 1 archer better than me knights should raise mdef thats 1 of there weaknesses so allways work on that wen you can im a lvl 60 mage 32k br and i allways work on my pdef just as knights should work on mdef

HP gem for agoran shield. absorbs 20% of maxed hp.

Pdef increase passively per level-up.

Block gems [nonono] use this if you have drills otherwise focus on pdef and patk

My view about Mdef gems on knights are:
knights have the lowest mdef thats a fact you should have known from the start.

If you like to finish catacombs faster choose mage as has the highest mdef at all classes

archers are rather balance so its flexibly for build changes.

knight is a pure tank-dps hero when i say tank-dps your main weapon is your defense,and more patk ,

putting mdef gems eat ups space you can alot for either pdef or patk.

and not to mention every time you create a new character to the newest server you will get free drills save those drills till lvl 45+ and you will dominate.

Verdict:
Knights are physical tankers not magical tankers mages in charge of that.

Know your style choose wisely and know that putting a mdef gem to a knight is so nooby (with the exception that your f+cking rich to buy all 3 slots and put mdef,pdef,patk)o mdef is your only gem currently

mdef is your weakness accept it,but you have your advantages also pdef is your friend no archer can stand a good build knight.

and knights are natural tanker, if your knight is not tank build theres something wrong on the way you manage you knight.

I dont think tanker knights should use many patk gems. Maybe for the trinkets and the weapon but that is it. You should use hp,pdef, mdef as your main gems. If you arn't a casher then you should use hp and pdef. Block gems are okay if you have enough def already or you have the epic sets next patch that gives you a 4th slot.

Personally, I would set that up around 45 or so when you get the 45 set. Early stages it's good to have a few patk gems in your gear bc tank knights don't really shine until around 45-50.

Best bet is to get an block astral purple or orange and then refrine for block stats. Block gem is nice but save it for the epic gear with 4 slots. Knights should have massive def and hp as their main stats.
