the REST system there just for fun (hahaha). Well, if you like to ride just Mount. If you like to walk then REST. Simpal as is that. As to what cluis21 said unless devs make a HP and MP bar. You just get along with it.

it's true all in 100 points situations but regarding for this issue just checked their stat like strength, endurance, intellect, armor. still got difference even not so huge. for more details just surface up this issue and wait for 1 of the GM's answer or released new informations about it.

Mounts do level up, if everyone is at 100 on your server, it only means that no one leveled it enough. We have one player with 300 points on his mount, boosted power to 100 along with other stats pretty high. It seems does not seem be related with the "rest" function.

the rest is to dismount from the mount i believe which can fix lag that happens in areas where mount not really needed such as guild chamber
