Combination Gems

I've noticed as I made some gear Red, I can no longer have 3 or more Combination Gems in my gear.

My non red gear has a Power attack gem, a Power attack/Crit gem, a Mdef/HP gem and a Pdef/HP gem.

When I take gems out to upgrade to Red gear, I can only put 2 Combination gems in.

I am HOPING this is a bug. If not a big edge to those who made Red gear before this change came about.
