You all think they really CARE??? They are milking us for the last dollar, and just letting it run on a few server farms, as long as the money in more than pays for the server time. THEY DON'T GIVE A Cupcake !! It's obvious, and no amount of ranting is going to change it

R2 host so many MMO games, and they still generate tons of revenue from other game sources.
So they don't give a ** about how players have been faithful to a particular game (esp. when it's a clone),
and not given up hopes on it, after each disappointment time and again with every new optimization patch.

The reality: game patches aren't even tested for player feedback on test servers before releasing it to the rest of the server population.
Reason? They are pressing and squeezing the cows dry of their milk before leaving them for dead. Constant recharge events alrdy foreshadow this.

The gd news is: game addicts can now be forced to break away from a childish and condescending game
with the greatest calamity that will still yet to befall Wartune (e.g. a major server merge clash that causes players to lose their accounts)
It is true they hold a lot of other mmos games.
League of Angels is the new milking machine.
Wartune is really dying out. League of Angels will follow the path next.
R2 gets its big money from the top 5 games it has. LoA, Nova Genesis, Stormtrhone, Wartune, and Winterfrost legacy.
After wartune goes out as major money source, LoA is next. the rest will follow the same.
Their 20 other games don't provide a create source of money like the top 5 does.
Over half of those games will die out because none of them have events, or enough money coming in that r2 finds acceptable.
Fortunately, this company won't survive long. A few more years until the whole economy comes down and they run out of their precious money and must shut down.

One thing you need to know is that the owner of LoA, and main host is gtarcade.com
As much as possible, avoid playing on R2, as the game host that you play on will inevitably
provide you with the game support from the website itself.

These recent patches we've had have done more harm then I've seen all my years of playing Wartune. We are truly in the Dark Ages of this game.
Before I begin though, I want to state what has popped out to all the players who have logged into wartune's homepage.
You have a slide in the center of your homepage placed first. It states the following
" Version 5.1 Optimized - R2 always puts players first".
This has not only made many people feel repulsed by what you have stated, but it shows very clearly you are purposefully causing this distress with a corrupt sense of humor. You have show within that statement alone
YOU DO NOT CARE. Actually, not only do you not care, you have caused these issues on purpose because of your evil and twisted perception on humor.

If you always put the players first, why are there countless threads made every minuet on why you cannot fix simple problems? Why have you been contacted by other businesses to stop with your false advertisements on multiple occasions? Why do you have an F rating on BBB with complaints not addressed or dismissed?

          Here are some links:
          http://kotaku.com/esrb-tells-browser...s-ra-504523307
          http://www.gamesindustry.biz/article...-afoul-of-esrb
          http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news...Fake-AO-Rating

The above links are not about other versions of wartune. It's because R2games has set up these ads purposefully in their headquarters in Hong Kong. I remember when that forum mod MemoryLane stated r2 does not associate with these ads. Either she was lying or she was lied to. These links and ESRB clearly state what r2 has done and they lead DIRECTLY to r2.

          BBB LINK:
          http://www.bbb.org/phoenix/business-...-az-1000026617

I don't have to link any forum posts on here because you can easily find them on the first page of new forum post of all the stuff they have created and refuse to fix.

Tell me R2, if you're "Always" about the players, please explain the above. You won't. You can but refuse because you don't have to.
That's not a business. That's being arrogant, childish, and immature. Not professional at all.

          Now onto other things...

We have seen difficulty increase in quite a few things these past patches....

So what do you think players, is it the start of a Dark age never to see a Renaissance? I believe so.

It is a FTP PFP game(FTP = Free To Play, PFP = Pay For Power) game. They are going to target those players whom they are collectively extracting the most money from. Players having above a 3-million battle rating(with sylph, eudaemon, and so on, combined) is becoming more common on the older servers. They want to keep these players so they have to keep making new events or increase the difficulty of the currently existing ones. Yes, they are doing a substandard job of trying to keep them in the game, but they do have to do something to keep these older & stronger players interested, playing, and paying. You can't have a FTP game and expect to keep it going without there being an incentive to cashers, which is where game balance goes out the window.

It all comes down to the issue of "Buyer Beware". Like with anything else, before you start investing anything, do some research. Also, anyone with half a brain and having a basic understanding of human nature can conclude that FTP PFP type games are always going to be lopsided and favor those who spend the largest sums of money since those players are the ones who support the game and keep it afloat. If you want fairness/game balance and a game company that has a dedicated and reliable customer service branch, avoid these types of games like the plague. The fact that they have an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau doesn't really tell me much beyond the fact that they do not want to deal with complaints. If you do the same search on just about any other FTP PFP game, you will probably find the same thing since these games have, in a sense, a business model designed to get you to spend money to become more powerful. It is analogous to how the big casinos work: they want you to spend money, plain and simple. Their tactics are very similar, have a psychological element to it, yet they remain very much legal in the world of "business". It all comes back to "Buyer Beware", and being able to police yourself. You're not going to sue or win a complaint against a casino if you were stupid enough to blow all of your money away gambling. The same holds true with these types of games.

My advice is if you want to game competitively, go somewhere else unless you have lots of money to throw away. These games are not really designed to be competitive in the sense that you or I would expect, but are instead manufactured to extract as much profit as possible with the least amount of attention and work on their part. This is evident with how they release new content and how a good portion of it looks the same.

In my opinion, the PFP aspect of these games should be banned altogether and replaced with a slightly more expensive monthly billing system. This way everyone pays. If the game can not draw in enough customers to make the game successful, then they do not deserve to be in the gaming business, period. This also includes those gaming companies/distributors that have poor customer service.

              Your comment is correct.
I think though the OP was trying to get at the complete **** they put even the #1 casher has to deal with.
With "millions" coming into this host, you would think they have at least show a bit of intellegence.

The whole FTP PFP looks like this, no matter if CCG or online games:
                - if they start to milk more than they attract new players, they kill the game
                - if they design new powerful ways to gain advantage faster (like fused sylph that can even on low BR basic toon kill the others) and use it to milk players, they simply lose other players who played longer with stable cash flow
                - if they design new features without giving the suitable timeframe to finish (like eudemon skill system), they will loose players who simply gave up (even they can play for the same period but with more achievable features)

And with RPG games there is usually the only end = player decided to leave before maxing all possible ladders.

In reality they opened the gap between players by breaking natural competition in sylph grow:
                - they limited free advanced mahra/sepulchre to grow to red sylphs which can compete with fused ones (they are still weaker, but competitive) and reduced some other sylph gear stuff
                - base toon BR is nice but ... fuse sylph with bought RES will outperform 50% stronger base toon with lower sylphs

So here is the result - they will milk those fused owners but loosing the rest if they do not close the gap soon. Who wants to be killed in arena like these days due to new matching system the 6xx servers?

One day maybe.. rewards will entirely be event based and nothing else, nothing from doing daily devotion
(except for dimension resistance rewards).. so that there won't be a need to do dailies anymore.
Why? If player would need to rely on event requirements to obtain the rewards they desire,
this will drive more players to buy more event chest just so that to achieve the requirements needed for reward exchange..
So we can safely presume that this is why they put useless junk to draw our attention away from doing devotion, dungeons and minigames...
and look entirely onto events that they'd plan for us... That's just what R2 wants - market control

It's been like that sometime ago...

I find it highly amusing that wartune was trying to tout itself as an Adults Only game when u can`t even type the word Adult in the chat box without it showing up as something like $@#@$.
I think they only WANT adults to join as I don`t know many under 18yr olds with credit cards :P
