I believe the intended idea was for there to be an option to buy a single month of VIP using balens for a roughly equivalent amount to the current monthly fee. $7.99 worth of balens (799, or 800 to make it pretty) for one month of VIP. Not a bad idea, if I'm guessing correctly.

But what's the difference between spending real cash? I guess it's because VIP from paypal is recurring whereas if you buy using Balens, it's not.
