  • Opinions?

My hecate currently has 150k br but wont pregress much since not many ways to get adv mahra for free easily..... Opinions on switching out awe for sinister rot?
I have deaths harvest, devour soul, delphic, devils gaze and awe... But never really use awe except in world boss as a last skill
Dont really go much on pvp just yet since still weak and working on br

Both Awe and Sinister Rot are best as pvp skills, generally, but SR will be more useful in pve, I think. Any bleed-type attack works best against a target with very high resistance or in cases where your damage is reduced significantly (or high reflect, similar idea). You don't find much high resistance outside pvp, but some things can definitely debuff your damage or shield themselves, and guild boss has a super reflect.
SR is perfect vs. high reflect, since it does zero regular damage, but in general it will do less damage than almost any other hecate skill. If you're not using that skill slot anyway, then it may work for you.

If you do start to do pvp, though, SR isn't particularly good, since it gains nothing from tenacity or any other damage bonuses you have. Awe is a lot better, since getting in an extra attack or two when your opponent has de-sylphed will make a big difference.

Sinister Rot is great to use against those who use guardian rune. (Guardian rune doesn't reduce the damage from bleeds.)

Not sure about SR in PVE, but mostly on board with what you've said.
