In my opinion the guild Battle is intended to get the active players rounded up into just a few guilds better preparing the servers for mergers with other servers if all active players are in a few guilds they can better remove the inactive players from a server thus making it a faster process of merging servers together and easier for them to rank the guilds when the servers do merge. Just my thoughts on it I am actually Loving Guild Battles as i am in the Number 4 ranked guild in my server and we totally have the ability to reach rank 2 in final rankings if the draw went our way but so far bothweeks we face the number 1 ranked guild in round 3 thus ensuring a 3rd place finish.
