I just got on and really didn't have much of a chance to look through everything, but based on my clothing inventory, here is what I believe has occurred:

Any clothing you had on your character(i.e. would most likely have been the highest level) got bumped into your inventory. For example, if you had lvl 8 clothing equipped, it should be found in your inventory. However, it will still show up on your character since it is what you had selected prior to the patch. From what I understand, all of the clothing must now be engulfed in order to get the level bonuses. Also, any other clothing higher than lvl 1 that you had in your inventory prior to the patch will still be there and should be the same lvl that it was before the patch. All you have to do is engulf it(assuming you don't need to identify it yet).

So in general, you shouldn't have lost any clothing or levels that the clothing had. The only thing you should have lost was a good chunk of starting rage and the clothing level on your character(which is remedied by engulfing all of the clothing that is in your inventory). Nevertheless, I'm going to wait a bit before engulfing anything to make sure any potential bugs are worked out first.

the clothes were previously 'equipped', and the patch 'removed' them from the hero and put them into inventory.
they are 'removed', but not 'deleted' or 'gone', it's that simple, HAHAHAHA!!!

but this is r2 we speaking, they are notorious for forking up things that should have been fine in the first place.
as for me i wont strip, but its just because im looking for more reasons to dump this trash of a game. other people should have take precautions.

When the patch happen to you, your equiped clothes will be sent in your inventory (or at least that's what happened to me).
