Devotion for GuildBattle

To get devotion for guildbattle you need to attack enemy tower or players. So the question is if you do not get any of the 4 towers and attack the enemy tower for zero damage do you get devotion?

you only get points for length of time you successfully hold the base, it adds up incramentally over time held. Attacking anyone and doing zero damage to them, you get nothing, basically every time you lose a fight the other team gets points. Our guild makes the lower level brand new players stay on home base and not go out, it just gives enemy more points to die and lose all the time. And NO attacking the player holding a base and you haven't successfully won that base is zero point for you, its same as attacking on the field, committing suicide on players giving them free points by your death. If you know you cant kill a player on a tower, let the bigger guys go at it. The best a lower level player can do is to weaken the tower holder, and hope as time goes on they die so you can hold the tower... only then do you get points from occupying the tower. But of course if you know its gonna take you multiple tries to kill them, they will run right back out after they heal and take it back. Play wisely and have fun all.

was about devotion, and to that. yep, you get devo if enemy holds all 4 and you hit their tower.
