Question about upgrading 80 sets

I have gathered 300 titan shards, so there is option for me to upgrade lvl 80 set
I have some questions

Do I have to re-enchant to 36?
Do I keep sockets?
Do I keep refining?


Most important, can I use hammers and stoves on it still or its time where clamps/stithies come in?

When you upgrade the level eighty set, you will keep any upgrades or enhancements made to it, you will not lose holy forging, sockets or anything else. Up until level 8.10 stars will be the stoves and hammers, after that it will go to moons where the clamps and stithys will begin. Please refer to this thread here and see number twenty-two for confirmation.

So I can upgrade lvl 80 equipment and keep using hammers/stoves till level 8 grade, thats nice. Thank you mentor

If I remember correctly the 80 set is orange and you are taking it to red. If so make sure the gear is fully refined to what you want cause the red gear needs elite refinement crystals which are harder to get
