It would be great if the tree of ancients always dropped balen seeds - at most, the farm can give you 48 bb per day, which is less than half what you get from devo if you can manage 300. So seems pretty reasonable to let us have that, given how relatively useless the other types of seed rewards are.
I don't think they'll let us buy balen seeds, though, unless they give really small rewards, like 5bb in 12 hours.
