This guide will show you how to get the most out of Magic Squares in the fastest time.
First, here is the board:
The objective is:
1) Light up squares until 4 or more squares in a line are touching each other.
2) Light the most number of squares in a single clear as possible.
Strategy:
There are 4 lines of squares that pass through the center square.
And this is the goal (any way that gets to this goal is acceptable. Easiest is to assign each person in the group a line to light up)
After the board looks like this, then someone needs to light up the center square. When the center square dies, 17 squares are cleared from the board.
For clearing 17 level 1 mobs, you get 3,975 points.
2: 4230
3: 4485
4: 4740
5: 4995
6: 5250
And that gets all 5 stages of chests. Did this with my alt and my spouse and his alt. 17m, 12m, 7m, 3m. We capped our points out with 2 minutes 30 seconds to spare.
ETA: After gaining the maximum points, you can spend the rest of your time clearing any spare chests from the board.
