Where are the moderators?

I have been through the Imperial Wars thread and even started a thread of my own, still no moderators have commented on this contentious issue. I'm referring to the obvious cash grab of Imperial Wars replacing the traditional Guild Battle and Cross Server Guild Battle. To say this is an improvement would be a ridiculous over-statement! Why haven't the moderators commented on this issue? When will the game developers comment? ( as if! I know the programmers/developers find this to be beneath them and best left to their minions! Truth!!) Still, I believe we ( the people playing and spending hard earned cash) deserve an honest response from someone of authority. Someone who has our interests in mind. So I wait and continue to play, hoping my concerns will be heard and even acted upon... then I woke up! There are other games out there that don't do this to their players. Who listen to the problems and actually act upon them. Why is it so hard for Wartunes to do this? Isn't it just a little bit of coding? A few key strokes? It's not exactly rocket science! It's a game for Pete's sake! I am growing weary of the direction of this game. If the developers think people won't drop their toons in spite of the money they invested in it, think again! In our guild we have lost 3 of our top players because of this latest cash grab. More are saying they will leave too. I am contemplating this as well. So come on Wartunes let's hear from your moderators and developers. Let's save Wartunes!!

Technically, Wartune doesn't have a moderator, as no one has applied and those I've reached out to have declined. Wartune has me, and I oversee the entire forum, specifically the games that have no mod. Wartune also has a few wonderful mentors who help on the forum, and who do reply to the things they can reply to. When we see a lot of feedback about a topic and generally everyone is sharing that same opinion, it does get forwarded, but we do look for feedback that is a bit more detailed, such as what isn't liked about a feature and what could be changed to make it better.

The developers are a separate company. R2 is a publisher, who forwards concerns to the developer. It's entirely up to the developer to take feedback into consideration and decide if change is needed or possible. There was a survey where everyone should have addressed their concerns about all of the new systems that came in patch 6.3. The results of the survey are forwarded to the devs. While everyone tends to claim the survey results in nothing, we do need to remember that not everyone is going to hate everything about the game, or the same things that you do. There may be more people who do like the events as they are now who took the survey than those who don't like the new systems. The survey is a much more accurate representation of how everyone playing Wartune feels about the game than just what the vocal minority posts on the forum. Hopefully you and everyone you know took that survey.

A lot of the feedback has been 'bring back' type feedback. It's time to focus on providing feedback on what is in the game now, rather than what use to be in the game.

Technically Not true, I have offered multiple times to be Both a Moderator and or a Mentor and was turned down without notice of any sort.
And although i have been playing this game literally for 4+years both on this version and on the Original Chinese Released Version "Divine Comedy"
It seems it wouldn't matter How much time and knowledge about the game matters to those in charge of that.

You are right, it was technically not true. I forgot about PinkiePie, who is a part time mod. And I should have added that most of the applicants have only ever posted once, and that was to say they wanted to be a mod. There are standards. Actively posting is one of them.

Where exactly did you put your applications, Darrkin? The only way to apply to be a mod is through me, either by posting in the thread in the Announcements section or by contacting me direct.

I was once considered to be part of the moderating team (on a different account, but another R2 game). However, had this problem in installing/running this one program that was required of me due to the basis of my network and its standards (which equates to working in a corporate enterprise setting) that I could not be part on.

I still can provide whatever help I can as a fellow player/forum member without the title.

Well as for the survey about the 6.3 patch... I hadn't even had the chance to play imperial wars yet nor did anyone else from our guild! I took the survey without knowledge of imperial wars. That said, I do believe there are enough complaints about imperial wars to warrant a sincere and concerted effort at either fixing it or reverting back to the original guild battles. As for the lack of moderators, I was unaware there was only 1 full time and 1 part time moderator. I can only hope that the lack of moderators won't have a negative impact on the game. I suppose with the lack of mods the players could always enter a ticket in to address their concerns as I have done already.
