Emergency maintenance, so what was the glitch?

We all know they never do emergency maintenance unless someone figured out how to get something for free. ... so what was that free thing?

Still waiting on a compensation package for shutting it down at the worst possible time. A lot of people lost out on materials for the servers shutting down without warning. I assume one is coming. Even Wartune devs aren't that pathetic they won't give out a compensation pack for their mistake.

They already sent out comp packs on servers in the MT list, but the other rebooted servers in their timezone didn't seem to get any.

ther forgote add the point hain in arena wef girsy got them friday so alot misse out on diamond groupe becyse lost a whole day in gold.

They had to shutdown some servers to fix some unannounced bugs:

Wartune cross-server system is possibly not designed to handle the situation of a server shutdown outside the maintenance window.
Every time that happened, cross-server in the same cluster is always totally messed up.

Well it certainly wasn't to fix the freezing problem
Or it probably was and R2 messed it up again

All cross-server events were completely broken for some servers. They probably had to take all of them down in order to sync everything back up again.

It's either on the Ghost Spuds MacKenzie (Banquet) gear or the fact that some of us could not enter post grab (still shaking stick if it's the early disabling bit).....

So really, don't know.
