One of our Assistant GM suggested that we have a guild channel where Officers, Guild Assistants and Guild Master can discuss topics not in the actual guild chat.
In this manner, we can plan, discuss strategy and discuss other various guild/none guild topics without fear of said information being leaked by moles. We'd also like to be able to discuss sensitive guild subjects that might otherwise offend guild members, like about kicking certain members, or promoting, or recruiting, etc.
The officer guild chat could be integrated into the already existing guild chat window as a tab. In the guild chat window there would be two tabs, one would say Guild (or Lobby) Chat and the other would say Officer (or Backroom) Chat. The Guild Chat tab would show the guild chat, with the list of guild members on the right, just as it is now. In the Officer Chat tab, it would show the same, only difference would be the list would only contain officers.
This would also cause Guild Masters to think very carefully on whom they give promotions to, as you wouldn't want just anyone in the "Backroom" where guild discussions are held.
