There is an item in the exchange for 6-6-17 called Soul Shard. Any idea what this is for? Where do we use this item? Does it have something to do with the new patch?

It is a mistake, they would normal put the soul shard item for making artefacts in the exchange there which is missing although the halidom one is there, instead they have put in something else that happened to have the same name

My only guess is that they ran out of crafty names for their event trinklets that they had to use the ones we know of.

The item has the same name as the item that would normally be there. This should be adjusted already as it was when I signed on this morning on my home server.

so the ppl who rushed to exchanged their scrolls of wisdom for green soul shards got shafted cuz they can only get blue soul shards now instead of event scrolls

People who wish to exchange the Quest Item Soul Shard for the Synthetic Material Soul Shard will need to place the Quest Item Soul Shard in their first inventory slot and send in a ticket for it to manually be exchanged.

Because no one has ever given us a screenshot of the entire exp panel showing that item as a reward, before collecting it.
