  • When will you solve the Lag problem?

It's worse and worse and it becomes more than painful to play.

Athena's war, Imperial'war, Arena.... This lag begins to disgust us to play.
And most of all, do not come to tell me that it comes from my computer (dixit a mentor) almost everyone is in the same line. Even lag in Dimension, in short, everywhere.
Add patches why not, but solve this problem of lag which is paramount on a quantity of Events that enters us take too long now and especially for less and fewer rewards.

I do not know who advises you for these new Events, but maybe you should change your advisors or testers.

they will never fix it cus they dun want it.. sadly most annoying is arena where it takes up to 30sec or more to perfom 1 skill venus war cost sometimes 20+ secs to to do a skill

They will never fix it bc they know you all will cash 1000s of dollars anyway. The lag issue has been there ever since beta of this game and that's sad. What's even more sad is the fact you cashers still cash hardcore in this game showing them you don't really actually care about the lag. Thus r2 decides to not give a **** either and let the lag stay there. Stop cashing hard and hurt them where it counts. Then maybe they will decide to fix the problem. However, that will never happen since all you are too greedy to be number 1 in this game.

          Never.

Because how else are they going to showcase their lag inducing swirlies, flashy mounts, and clothing, along with hopping icons, annoying popups, and the occasional cross server bullhorn highlight.

Lag is not a problem, it's a feature, so there's no reason for them to fix it...lol

they only blame on your pc or net... even with game laptop and between 700/900 mb/s wifi isnt good enough to reduce the lag

That one is gold, LOL. It deserves props.

And yes, they do blame other things and not their own. I am a network engineer, a telecommunications specialist, a benchmark tester in quality control within the hardware, software, and firmware levels, and I am the person the phone companies do not like because I would go into their equipment (either by key or force), remove their cards, check the apparatus and card both, re-seat the card, and patch it all up to continue my troubleshooting journey so I can go home and the folks can go on their merry day without any downtime thereafter. That's how I get business done.

If I play another game, I do not have a problem with such because my set up is fast for it. If I watch TV via PC, I do not have problems (other than DirecTV won't do the streaming of the SONIC TAP music channels via the app). I have a 60 MBPs internet with a 1G LAN (wired) with a high enough wi-fi (and range). And of course, there's this thing they kind of missed on: how could over a handful of players that are from different points of the world be wrong when they pointed out stuff like sprite overlapping in a Spire run that might have contributed to such lag?

See, they fix things that are not important (ahem translation errors) or wreck other things (you call them nerfs) and leave things like this alone. Hell, if this was my company (and I do run such when it comes to providing network availability), this would be a high priority because a person will get frustrated and leave to head to the competitor (no wonder why they are losing players) that will provide something better for them; so, yes, this is something I will have to make it a priority to get fixed so I can keep my customers. But hey, one of me can only do so much; so I try to imagine what they are doing over there with a lot of people (or maybe monkeys, who knows) on any given day.

The best PC isn't going to cut it when the servers are in China, alot of the lag is due to the high latency's in networktraffic. I live in Europe and a ping to the server takes around 120ms. Many things in the game (like farming as an example) do tons of server-requests and thus the high latency is noticeble in all things you do. Feed the animals in the farm to know what i mean, it is a tedious thing to do but feeding our animals is something we all need to do.

All the swirly-icons (wich cannot be folded in because they fold out every single time) are adding up to the "system-lag" because these icons but also flashy clothing and mounts, all take system-resources. System-lag even occures when having a NASA-PC (like me) because Wartune takes 730MB (Edge browser) and 940MB (Chrome browser). That isn't normal. This game has problems with unloading items wich aren't needed so eventually you have to refresh because otherwise you'll end up with a browser wich takes 1.9GB of your RAM.

I can run Battlefield 1 @ 1920x1200 with all settings on ultra with a framerate of 145fps (with framedrops to 110fps). Wartune doesn't want to run higher than 45fps. This only can be solved if Wartune was written to use HTML5 instead of Flash.

Flash only uses a single core of your processor so it doesn't matter if you have an dual, quad, hexa, octa-core processor because Flash cannot use these extra resources. IPC is something what matters but i have seen an Intel 7700K with a framerate of 52fps.

This game is horribly outdated. They cannot rewrite it to drop Flash, they cannot rewrite it to reduce memory-usage and they will certainly not move their servers to other locations in the world so let go the dream that lag-issues will ever be solved.

At least someone saw that besides myself. I do take an eye on stuff when I play the game. In the past, I can dispel some of those swirlies by clicking on the icon and it will go away as long as I do not refresh so they can be reset again (why; I mean if I click on the stupid thing, it should go away permanently; it's not that important). However, it failed when time box was made evident as it won't shut off unless the event is out of time range; and even worse when it comes to the events inside of it that will swirl to no end. Average number of units would have the 80% mount speed with only a few that would have the 110% mount speed. Even with that, I felt like I am moving through molasses.

Another fail is the Hot Events icon will swirl if I gathered items that isn't part of the event (either by runs or through mail). This is rather annoying in addition to the icons popping out after we close them.

With all that time in the world, there should have been a team designated to rewrite the game in a different platform. Then again, with the patches that have been released over a long period of time in between, it probably be a rushed job as well.
